Popeye fun facts, Green Spaces for Health, Your favorite love songs.

Happy Valentine's Week, everyone!  We got a fun episode this week.
Popeye the Sailor Man.  How much do you know about him?  This week's fun facts are all about Popeye!  Hint:  It wasn't always spinach.
Grren spaces are vital for our mental health, studies are showing, and we are taking a look at that this week.

Pinball Fun Facts, How to have a better day. Week of February 6th

Pinball!  I LOVE Pinball!  I don't get to play as much as I used to, but I'll say I was quite the pinball wizard back in the day.  Our fun facts this week take us into the fascinating world of pinball!
Are you over 50?  Part of the AARP crowd?  Well, it might be a great time to try something new.  It could be as adventurous as skydiving, or perhaps an adventure of a different sort---writing a book or using an app like Duolingo to learn a new language.  The over 50 crowd is always trying new things, in record numbers.  That's what today's good news story is all about!
Winter is tough on a lot of us, myself included.  I throw in a few tips on how to make winter more bearable.

Grand Canyon Fun Facts, Most Popular Hobbies, and Trying New Things

The Grand Canyon is one of those places I'd really like to visit, but haven't had a chance to yet!  I learned a lot of things in researching this, and it sounds like such a fascinating place to visit.  I need to make it out there.
Seasonal Affective Disorder----it's a real thing, and I suffer from it.  You may, also.  Today we take a look at a woman who decided to try something new to stave off depression, and it worked wonders----and it's not hard.
January is National Hobby Month.  My main hobbies are ham radio, geocaching, and bicycling.  We found a list of the 15 most popular hobbies in the USA.  Is yours on the list? Whether it is or not, I'd really love to know what your hobbies are!

All about Spam (the food), our holiday emotions, and more! Week of December December 12

Spam.  I LOVE it, it's one of those tastes of childhood for me.  Spam certainly is an iconic food, and in this week's fun facts is all about Spam!
Holidays can be very trying for all of us.  In this week's good news story, we take a look at that phrase "I'm Fine" and how we can perhaps give a more appropriate response when we're struggling.
One of my favorite childhood memories was reading comic strips in the newspapers.  Is that a memory you have?  We look at 8 of the best comic strips from the 70s in today's nostalgia segment.
